We are organising a major event for August 2009, in conjunction with the Golf Hotel in Carnoustie.   Click here to find out more about this fantastic event!!

Sponsors are urgently needed to ensure we can get further advertising placed in the International Blues Magazines and get American and European tourists beating a path to Carnoustie!!

This will be a three-day event involving major international bands and we are thus hopeful that we can fill every room in the Golf Hotel and every other establishment in the region too..

If you would consider sponsorship, we appreciate that this has to be a business decision.  So why not look over the following set of profile-raising and advertising opportunities that you could achieve (not including the fact that such sponsorship is tax-deductible!).   This could be one of the cheapest yet most effective ways that you could ever hope to gain recognition for your business in the USA and in Europe! 

These packages offer a unique opportunity for businesses in Carnoustie, Angus and beyond to support a community festival centred in Carnoustie but which will encompass tourism and associated businesses throughout Angus and North-East Scotland.

1.       To sponsor the Festival overall, which will then be titled;
“The 6th Smokie Blues International Music Festival in association with (your Company’s name here)”  Your Company’s name will thus appear on all correspondence, international advertising, publications and displays.  Your nominated Company representative will also receive 4 complimentary tickets for the main concert.   This package all for £1500.

2.       To sponsor the Main Stage, which will from then on be named as “The (Your Company’s name here) Stage”  A banner will be presented at the front of the stage bearing your Company’s name and the name will be mentioned in all correspondence and publications relating to the Main Stage.  Your nominated Company representative will also receive 4 complimentary tickets for the main concert.   This package all for £1000.

3.       To sponsor the Acoustic Stage, which will from then on be named as “The (Your Company’s name here) Stage”  A banner will be presented at the front of the Acoustic Stage bearing your Company’s name and the name will be mentioned in all correspondence and publications relating to the Acoustic Stage.  Your nominated Company representative will also receive 4 complimentary tickets for the main concert.   This package all for £700.

4.       To sponsor a participating band.  A large poster indicating the band and sponsor will be displayed and your nominated Company representative will also receive 2 complimentary tickets for the main concert.   These packages from £300 depending on international stature of the band.

Please Note that Photo-Opportunities can be arranged for any of the above Sponsorship Options for a small extra charge.

5.       Unassigned support.  Have a large poster naming your Company as a “Festival Supporter” hung on the internal walls of the main hall and receive 2 complimentary tickets for the main concert for £100.

6.       Why not take the opportunity also to advertise on our website (for one month before and after the Festival) or in the Festival printed programme.  Website Home-Page, Performers Page or Programme Page - £300 each.  Programme full-page £100, half-page £50, quarter-page £25.
